Semper Fidelis Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 880
 
Meeting, Monday 20th April 2026, at the Masonic Temple, St. Annes.
25 Brethren present, including a number of visitors.  WBro. Clive Gitsham, WM Imperial Mark and VWBro. Jimmy Rogers, WM Prince Setanta, were both present.
WBro. Paul Smedley Prov GJW and WBro. Abdul Benashour Prov GJD (member) were both in attendance with WBro. Smedley acting as SO for the night.
The WM. WBro. Alan Davies, opened the meeting.
A memoriam was given by WBro. Tony Farrar for VWBro. Howard Emmett PGJD and WBro. Roger Buckley PPrGSW, who had both recently passed away.
The Brethren stood to order for departed merit.
Officers not present at the Installation were then invested.
A ballot was taken for a rejoining member; WBro. David Lawn, which proved in favour who was then welcomed into the Lodge.
The WM introduced WBro. Geoff Catterall PGJD who proceeded to deliver a lecture on “The Degree of Mark Master Masonry”.
The lecture was well received by the Brethren.
The final business on the summons was worked through by the WM and the Lodge was closed. After the obligatory photo shoot, all the Brethren adjourned to the bar and onto the Festive Board where an excellent meal was provided by the chef.
A raffle organized by Bro. David Whyman raised £144!
 
A great night was had by all!
